If you’re looking for a new vehicle, talk to Holly Jensen at Lithia Hyundai of Reno. She is the best salesperson in Reno. She was not pushy, gave me the information I needed to make an informed decision, and continued to provide support post-purchase to understand accessory options (with Dani), warranty coverages, and service intervals. Regarding price, the options presented were straight forward and transparent. Holly and Steve went above and beyond to find me the right vehicle, even though it wasn’t in their stock, get it delivered to Reno, and ready for delivery. When I stopped by the dealership parts/accessories department and even though they had just closed up, Dani took the time to help me explore options and quote prices. A week later when my accessories arrived, Dani promptly provided the items I could install myself. Holly again put me in touch with service, and Diego called me promptly to schedule an appointment to install my trailer hitch and harness. I will certainly look to use Lithia Hyundai of Reno, Holly, Steve, and Dani again.

My mother in law purchased a vehicle the night before with Holly so she came highly recommended. All the staff members are very nice and accommodating. The vehicles and products are clean, well built and full of features. Only point to make is to ask about any late add on products to the vehicles that will raise the overall price as they do not disclose them early on.
I had no trouble when looking for the car I wanted. Right away after checking online if the car was still available I was contacted and told it was and that Holly would bring it up front and have the keys ready. Test drove the car right when we got there and in a few hours the car was mine. Holly was super friendly and professional & really helped us out today!

I had been researching the 2019 Hyundai Kona for some time because I was not really happy with my 2016 Honda HRV. The Kona had so much more to offer. I reached out to Holly in this regard and she had all the answers I needed. She made the purchase of my new Kona stress-free and had answers for all of my questions. When we met Holly my partner and I knew from the start that she was a person who cared about the experience we would have. Holly was engaged but never pushy. What was fun was that she really knew everything about the SUV we wanted to buy, the Kona Ultimate. In fact it was a coincidence that she had one as well. I had been wanting a small crossover style SUV with AWD and a smaller engine but with a Turbo that you did not have to buy premium gas for. Well Hyundai has it. So we went down to 'look' not intending to buy. I still had 2 months left on my current lease from another car maker. After helping understand our financial concerns and some adjustments, I got a lease amount I could work with and a very good deal. Hyundai had some lease incentives that really helped. I would say that Holly and the dealership really made this purchase happen. We never felt pressure and Holy made sure we had a snack from their snack bar while we were wrapping things up. While we were waiting for some numbers back from finance Holly shared some stories from the heart about our families and where we all grew up. That just doesn't happy in most auto dealerships, in fact it was the best most personable car buying experience ever. And I've bought more than a few cars in my life. Also when managers were needed, it never felt as if our sales associate Holy was being sidelined. That made us feel real comfortable. No heavy good cop bad cop issues. And everyone at Lithia worked as a team and we really felt they wanted us as a customer. Overall the experience was 10 Stars!

We have been customers of Reno Hyundai for several years. This year our lease was up on our 2016 Tucson. We called and were given an appointment to see what our options were in regards to buy out of our lease or re lease a new vehicle. We were introduced to Holly and she immediately knew what we needed. She found us an amazing 2018 with more options than our old Tucson. We then started talking financial issues. I do not remember his name but both he and Holly were so patient. They both worked to get us the best deal that worked for everyone. The dealership closes at 8 but everyone involved stayed until 9:30 to insure our paperwork was correct and everything was completed. Awesome staff and again I cannot praise Holly enough for a quick and painless car buying experience.

I was not expecting to walk in and buy a car that day. Dylan sat down with my dad and I and walked me through the financing steps and what would be best for ME financially. I was kind of nervous and was glad that he was helping me see the realistic side of getting my credit up and financing on my own without my dad as a co-signer. He picked a few cars out for us to look at in my price range and handed us into Holly's hands. She was amazing. She showed us a range of options for test drive. She was supportive in the decision that I made even though my dad liked the other car(hahha). During the loan process she was careful to explain all the steps while walking me through this very important financial decision. While inspecting the jeep they found minor problem and right away they informed me and fixed it right away. The car will never leave the lot if there's a defect or a problem and give it to you.

Horrible experience lies from the start, bait and switch -2 contracts signed for 3.9% then told Hyundai needed 11%. They did not even have this deal funded and after over 2 weeks my trade not paid off and I have a payment due . Then I take my papers to Tahoe to my CA DMV -I give DMV $408 to register new Hyundai then over a week later I am still not registered because they have to finish this. In the mean time Hyundai Finance has no connection to the new car loan but I am still required to make a payment on the trade that I gage them over a week earlier. And I have paid the DMV for the new car Lithia has lied about Hyundai funding -and now ii 8 days the registratiobn is due on the trade IIn that they have not paid off and still has me as the registered owner and I moved the insurance to the new car and if they wreck my trade in the plates(which are mine) are still attatched to the ownership of me and I am liable for anything to do with that car and almost 3 weeks since I gave them the trade it I still in my name even though the personal plates have been transferred to the new car pending Lithia paying off the loan and they know they are suppose to send my DMV complete papers to my Tahoe DMV they have not done that overnight either . So I cannot complete the registration and therefore do not have the finished registration even though I paid the DMV $408 and without that legal document I cannot work. And I have spent a total of 31 hours waiting at the dealership to get a deal and they are like cops they make you stay and get you tired and wanting to leave after dark! They have 15 days by law to get funding or I bring the car back and I get my fulll down payment and my trade in back I am actually hoping for that outcome because even though I got a gorgeous car it has nothingv I told them I really needed. A hatchback was not negotiable and they totally ignored me and said they had one car only !!! How should I be celebrating a $30k new car that has nothing I needed and is in limbo with a trade that I am still liable for and a second CA registration due as well as a car payment. Well I have 30 days before my current loan gets reported and they have to by law be paying it off a week before that 30 days. And they will never get me to register it because the plates are now assigned to my new car. If they back out of this deal I tge 15 days it will be the best and I have my down payment secured by AMEX. They will not be able to get out of that. So all this stuff for the sake of a rip off sale for a car that is not at all what need .. I would love to take this to court in a class action. Most people roll over or are too stupid to fight back even the office women are nasty uncouth unladylike bullies they had me screaming back. Forget the service department $50 to change a $20 cabin filter—ladies you can do it IIn 5 minutes and the air filter too . The headlights are trickier but it’s all on YouTube-gorgeous 2guys from Eastetn Europe will show you how on any Elantra!! You don’t ever have to go to the dealer for service just a documented ASC certified dude... and OEM Hyundai parts and paints and such -all on eBay or Amazon. This is Hyundai #3 for me -#\2 from Lithia—#last from these crooks who are assholeswhiie they lie and steal from you. Scott Hix is a diamond in this rough environment but he is starting to show signs of becoming one of them. Dylan is a piece of work and employs his whole family... save your xxx before it’s too late to get our-if I have saved one buyer from Lithia con then my purpose is valid

I purchased my last car in 2007 and promised myself and my spouse that we would never, put ourselves through that again. I have had friends that tell similar stories, I believe, “Stay away from the dealerships, at all costs!!” is a normal reaction. I had gone back and forth with another car dealership in town, and despite my efforts, including researching dealerships in other areas, including Carson City, Roseville and Fallon, NV, I was not happy. I had a friend who had a Hyundai and while my husband was not keen on the idea, he was out of town and I wanted to see what I could do, and I have to say, “I am extremely thankful I did!” I called the Hyundai dealership and was not expecting anything much, I just wanted to test drive this car and this was my only shot. I was shocked at how well this went from the first call, to the end, I will never go anywhere else again. I met the salesman at our local Reno Hyundai store and as far as I am concerned, this guy and his partner, changed the game for me. Scott HIX and Scott R. Very, no nonsense process and asking to be “quick,” was a serious, no joke request for me. I was there to test drive a specific car and that was all I had to do. I test drove the car, he didn’t ask me to “drive a better one or try to upsell to a newer or better option.” I had talked to him on the phone and asked him to please be truthful and please, not waste my time and you know, they normally ALL say they won’t. The most important aspect for me; I did not feel that I had to “fight them off,” or walk away after a full day, feeling that I accomplished nothing. I felt like, I accomplished what I came for and that was to “test drive,” the Hyundai I was interested in. I had to ask Scott if there was a model or maybe a “manual version,” that would accelerate a bit better and he said, “I will look.” I had never driven a Hyundai before so when he went over the “warranty, “and I test drove the car, I was shocked that not a lot of people have said much about this brand. Not good or bad? So, aside from that, I could not believe that these cars were so comfortable and sturdy and the warranty, really made me happy! Unfortunately, I could not decide, and normally this is the “END,” for salesmen. They do not want to waste time on a customer that clearly can’t decide. Normally, if I was alone, I would be discarded, maybe they feel that one could not decide without the husband, that is the impression I have had in the past. I asked him, before heading out, now mind you, “HE KNEW,” I was leaving and this was just a WISH, he was not going to sell a car today. Most salesmen, that I have had the displeasure of working with would say something like, “I will be right back,” and leave you standing on the lot, after giving you the business card, and shaking your hand to chase down the person that just pulled up. Scott Hix was the best salesperson I have ever dealt with. I left that day, and decided I was undecided. I had never purchased a Hyundai before. I wasn’t sure so I did not want to rush in to anything. I left and went home to Fallon. Which is an hour out of Reno, for those who have never “taken a trip to the country.” I decided the following day, that I was going to go with the model I drove and I called Scott Hix and told him that I wanted that Turbo version of the Veloster and to my complete surprise, he and his partner Scott worked this out so that I could get the one I wanted and with a payment I could live with! Not only that, but Scott Hix drove out to Fallon to pick me up, AFTER it was ready to go home with me! WHO does that? That is why I am here to tell you, Scott Hix and his partner Scott Roberts! I am not entirely sure how they are “partnered,” but I have to say, I was surprised that he came all the way, and picked me up and I was there maybe an hour and I was driving home the model, the color, and Turbo model I wanted! I had the financing I wanted and these great guys, helped me get window tinting at an amazing COST! I was truly lucky and what’s even better, I spent a total of two, maybe three hours there, including “test drive,” and my “services,” since I purchased the car! “I WILL NEVER buy a car from a dealership again!” Scott Hix is honest and works hard to get you what you want. No pressure and didn’t “run out on me,” when I decided to go home without a new car that day. He also didn’t say a thing when I called back and I didn’t have to “ask,” about the car and how “long, it would take,” he had already prepared it and I was prepared to pay more! I really wanted it! He drove out to Fallon at almost 5PM to pick me up and bring me back to Reno, which he DID NOT have to do! Scott Hix, Reno Hyundai; I promise you, he will change the way you feel about purchasing a new car and change the way we feel about “getting stuck,” with something you do not want or a payment you can’t really afford. I certainly would never say this about a “Salesperson,” if I did not mean it! AND, if you have never driven a Hyundai, you should most definitely try one. What do you have to lose? If you go see Scott Hix, you can safely “test drive one,” and get out of there if you don’t want to stay. I cannot complete this without saying, "Hyundai SERVICE," is also top notch. I took my new car there for the first service, expecting to wait, and wait and I could not believe my service literally took 15 minutes! I went for my second service and I had several things done and I was only there about 45 minutes and the cars were lined up! Those service guys, are friendly, helpful and above all FAST! Can't say enough about the entire dealership and the employees! I can't believe I never stopped in before!

Then Terry had to put up with me negotiating on every little point until we got to a deal that I was happy with. The manager continually stepped in and sent Ron off to do other tasks. The manager was upbeat and helpful but the financing story changed every time he came back to talk with us.
In December 2018 I bought a 2017 Nissan Rogue from this dealer. I was in a hurry to get to the airport and agreed to an "out the door price". I was surprised the actual out the door price was considerably higher because $947.95 in products I wasn't told about and wouldn't want were added. And I was taxed for them. $149.95 to put nitrogen in the tires through NitroFill $299.00 for anti theft etching through NSD $499.00 for interior and exterior through Permaplate When I asked about it I was told they do it to all of the vehicles they sell, this should be disclosed to the buyer before agreeing to a price, not afterwards.

I couldn't find an AWD Ruby Wine red Tucson Ltd where I live in Calif (apparently only 2% of the cars they receive from Corporate in Calif. are AWD) and so called Reno, NV to see if they have a red one. They didnt. I was going to settle for a white one that was coming in to my local dealer, when Sales Mgr Steve from Reno called and said he was getting a red AWD shipped in from Oregon; He sent a copy of the window sticker, and it was the EXACT car I was looking for! Even had most the added accessories I wanted, such as a trailer hitch. Then he price matched my local dealer, also making sure I got every rebate and incentive I qualified for. We did this all by text and emails. Car came in a few days later than he hoped, but otherwise it all went well. The Lithia Hyundai Reno dealership is across the highway from the main airport, making a flight or one-way rental car an easy way to get there for out-of-state purchasers. Chris, in Finance, carefully explained what I had to do to register the car in California (I need to Calif. smog test a brand new 50 State certified car??!) and gave me a 15 day temporary Nevada registration so I could drive it the 260 miles home. Salesman Ali explained all the many buttons and features, 'paired' my cell phone, and signed me up for all Hyundai's online programs that tie in with the car's many features. I was playing with the Nav, XM Radio, sunroof, etc. all the way home on Hwy 80. The car got over 31mpg at 70mph, which is higher than it is rated. I love my new car!
I was considering a new car but had not made any definite plans to do so. We saw the cars on the temporary lot on Plumb Lane and decided to test drive a new Tucson. Even though I had a 2007 Sante Fe, I was ready to downsize as there is just the two of us now. As I was not interested in a dark color or silver again, that only left the Caribbean Blue ad White. You did not have White with the options that we wanted and only one Blue one so we ended up purchasing that day. Ali answered all of our questions and provided great service.

The local Hyundai dealer was my first choice for a new vehicle, as I had a 2013 Sonata with super low mileage and pristine condition to trade in. From my initial contact via internet, I was greeted like a welcome visitor. The showroom visit was low-key, low pressure, and I never felt like I was being "sold" on a particular product. My salesperson was the opposite of the stereotype of a car salesman, and that is just what I hoped for. He was knowledgeable, positive attitude, and completely present, but never pushy. It's tough for a single woman to walk into a car dealership alone! Now I know I can always visit Lithia Hyundai and I can recommend them to my friends. I'm certain I made the right choice.

As discussed in my feedback, there were a few problems. The people were good but i could have used more info on how to get service and the warranty. Also, the issue with the price difference was annoying but it was resolved.

Interestingly, went in for 15K servicing on 2015 Sonata Sport and ended up driving away with a 2018 Santa Fe Sport AWD. Seems as if everything was in alignment--right color, bells and whistles, financing and CRM. So far a happy camper!

The lease on my Lexus was up and we needed a vehicle that seated at least 6 people. To find that in a new Lexus meant spending in excess of $60,000. At the urging of my wife and not wanting to be a car snob, I did a little online shopping: Enter the Hyundai Santa Fe "Limited Ultimate" with Tech Package. This vehicle is packed with features you can't even get on other cars, or, they're available at a price point that is tens of thousands of dollars higher! As I sat in the car I didn't see a two thousand dollar difference, let alone a twenty thousand dollar difference. And after a short trip on the freeway I was blown away by the ride quality and solitude the quiet cabin provided. Being a Lexus owner for 4 years, and BMW owner before that, my expectations were quite high. In fact, my initial plan was to just lease another Lexus, I'm glad I didn't. The quality of the car I ended up buying at the price I paid is easily the biggest "no brainer" decision I've been faced with in a while. If you are in the market for a premium SUV do yourself a favor and check out a Hyundai Santa Fe, you will be glad you did, and you'll save a boatload of money in the process!

This review only pertains to the sales experience (NOT FINANCE) of my 2017 Hyundai Elantra. I began car shopping on Monday and did some internet shopping. Received a call back that same day from Richard. He advised he was off on Tuesday & Wednesday, but to just give him a call if I wanted to come down and take a look at any vehicles. He gave me his cell number and I ended up calling him Tuesday afternoon. He met me at the dealership and we looked at a few vehicles, checked options, and took a test drive. I told him I was definitely going to buy a vehicle, but would wait until Thursday or Friday since he was off on Wednesday. Well, I started looking online again and realized that the vehicle I wanted (with the options/color I wanted) was the only one on the lot. On Wednesday I again called Richard (on his day off!) and he said no problem, come on down. He had the car being detailed as I arrived. We completed the paperwork and while waiting for the finance manager he went and filled the tank. We had quite a bit of a wait and he waited with us and kept us up to date on the time frame. This was all on his day off! He gave us a tour of the dealership, service, and parts departments. He sat in my new car and helped me set up the Blue Link and showed me some neat options while we waited. Overall this was the absolute best experience I've ever had with a salesman at a car dealership. I would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from Richard in the future! So I'm getting ready to return my leased Elentra. Brought my original paper work with me; I am in another state. Had 6981.97 down. They over charged me on the car. After the new dealership did my numbers off of my paper work from lithos. My payments should have been $55.00 a month. What were my payments. 178.77. They were planning for me to return it to lithos in Reno. I moved and the new dealership were I'm returning it is shocked. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS

I loved my elantra I had for 3 years. It was perfect only that it was. Not blue and no sunroof. I drive my cars...it had 72k miles on it. So on a whim found out my credit score and was contacted by Richard. He was great in how he found a new car that was blue, sunroof and heated seats with more bees and whistles than I know what to do with. I got a very good price on my trade in considering the.miles and a lower interest rate on my brand new sonata. Lithia has always been great to me in the sales and service departments.
