Our charitable outreach and community service efforts are focused on making a lasting impact. Lithia Hyundai of Reno proudly partners with the Nevada Human Society, The Life Change Center, The Nevada Veteran’s Coalition, and the family of Lithia Hyundai of Reno employee Marco Barrientos, who is currently battling with Multiple Myeloma.
Eddy House
Eddy House is a daytime drop-in center and overnight shelter for homeless, runaway, foster, and other at-risk youth. Eddy House works with youth to develop life and job skills necessary for sustainable independence with the goal of ending youth homelessness in Northern Nevada.
Reno Police Mounted Unit
It is the goal of the Reno Police Horse Mounted Unit is to patrol assigned areas on horseback to enforce laws, prevent crimes, and protect the safety of the community they serve. To provide assistance to other units within the Reno Police Department as requested, without undue delay.
Nevada Humane Society
Since 1932, our mission has been centered on caring for pets, finding them homes, and saving lives. We are a socially conscious, open-admission animal shelter, adoption center, and veterinary clinic caring for more than 18,000 animals each year.
There are an estimated 80,000 veterans living in northern Nevada. This facility allows veterans in need of skilled nursing care to stay closer to home, near their family, friends, community, when they need it most.
Since 1994, Animal Ark has served as a permanent and loving home for injured or otherwise non-releasable wildlife and provided wildlife education to the northern Nevada community and beyond.
The Empowerment Center is a recovery-oriented system of care for adult women who are ready to become productive members of our community. TEC serves low income, recovering addicts and alcoholics, many of whom have been incarcerated or homeless for quite some time.
The Mission of Veteran’s Guest House is to promote the health of veterans and their families by providing a warm, inviting temporary home and access to the medical care they need. This includes housing, transportation, basic needs, and personal care.
The Wild Horse Connection is dedicated to keeping the Wild Horses of the Virginia Range free by educating the community about living with our Mustangs and rescuing those that have been removed from the range.
Step One Recovery, we provide a unique and confidential addiction recovery retreat set on a private and exclusive Mediterranean estate. We assist each client in developing a positive relationship with his or her self, and recognize the barriers that keep them from leading the fulfilling life they want, and deserve.
Ronald McDonald House Charities® Northern Nevada supports families who have a child receiving treatment at an area hospital. Since 1987, we’ve created and supported programs that directly improve their health, education and well-being.

We help more than 18,000 pets in need every year and have been serving the Northern Nevada community for over 90 years.

Support Marco Barrientos
At 35 years old, Marco Barrientos was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, and considered high risk due to a rare cytogenetic factor, called t(4;14) translocation. Marco is fighting to beat this cancer with everything he has for his family. Marco and his wife, Amanda, have 3 children.

The Life Change Center
The Life Change Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has been providing recovery services for heroin and prescription medication abuse concerns since 1998. We offer a variety of services to help people make the changes necessary to beat their drug addiction.

Nevada Veterans Coalition
To honor our veterans of the PAST, we support the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, [NNVMC]. The Nevada Veterans Coalition [NVC] Honor Guard provides military style services to all veterans being interred at NNVMC. They receive a Chaplain lead service, three volley rifle salute, flag folding ceremony, Taps, and Amazing Grace.
